Shield Bearer prides itself in its ability to provide counseling services to those in need regardless of their financial situation. Services are offered on a sliding scale based on ability to pay.

How do I make an Appointment?

Counseling services are available for individuals, couples and families.  If you are seeking services for yourself or a family member, please call 281.894.7222 for a phone assessment.  During the call you will have an opportunity to ask questions as well as provide specific information about your situation.

Shield-Bearer Counseling Centers is a nonprofit charitable organization. Last year over 560 people received counseling services.  Some issues may be resolved in one session while others may take several sessions.  Services are offered on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. 

If you are in a dangerous situation or are not sure about your safety, call 911 to go to the nearest emergency room.

Once an appointment has been scheduled, please print and complete the following forms before your first visit.  If you have trouble with any part of the forms, just arrive early for your first appointment for assistance.
